The Spirit of the Entrepreneur

The spirit of entrepreneurship has made America that great land of opportunity that it currently is. The reason that America is the Land of Opportunity is because we have the opportunity and the dream that our home-based business of today has the chance to grow into a giant much like MicroSoft and many of the other businesses that were hatched on the kitchen table. 

There are many among us who yearn for the freedom to do our own thing. They yearn for the chance to create something of their own. The are the dreamers. They are the risk takers. They know that the opportunity for failure is there, but still they persist.

It is men and women like these who are responsible for making America what it is today. It is they who have helped to shape America into the Land of Opportunity. They do not know the meaning of failure. If at first they do not succeed, they try again. They don't wait for good fortune to befall them...they go out and make their own luck.

Success is a state of mind and the entrepreneur understands this. Oftentimes they are considered foolish. Many times they are considered crazy. If you are one such person, you know that there is no such thing as failure. If you learn from each opportunity, then even if you don't succeed, you have not failed.

If the Wright Brothers never dreamed of the possiblity of flight, we might still be traveling solely by ships, ferries, cars, and trucks. You have to be like a child and believe in what may appear to be impossible in the eyes of others. You have to be willing to sacrifice and most importantly...you have to expect challenges in the road ahead and be willing to work throught them in order to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Yes, the spirit of the entrepreneur is alive and well and whether it be a home-based business with the intent to save the world or to simply earn some pocket money, persistence is the key to any level of success in anything you attempt.
